Mina Murray's Makeup Look

For the character i have chosen that is Mina i want to show her when she is beng controlled by Dracula, after he gives her his blood, so i have looked at various images to show that, such as i want to learn how to create veins on the skin and some how gets some contact lenses to either make the pupils bigger or another colour, to show she is not in control, and that she is a lot different than before.


I have looked and veins and want to creat that look on her, as though she is being controlled, i want the veins to not look theatrical, but still very bold, and not all over the face like this, but maybe coming down from the top of the head.










Theses veins are created with makeup and thats not what i want to do, but this looks theatrical and thats nto what i want, but i thought that the makeup looked interesting and is a look that shows it in a gothic way, and i like the way the veins are created around the eyes and the pale face, that makes the black stand out a lot more.


































Researching more of the veins and i found this dress, that does remind me of veins and how they are started in one place. I wanted to show more than just the make up side of it and other things that could look like that.

Contact lenses, i want to use and i like the thought of red,as Mina is controlled and the eyes i want to show that as well and she can't stop it from happening, and also one of the portrayals of mIna in a film she was a vampire, but i do want to show my own take on it and how i think she would look after this and the eyes that would be red,as Dracula is a vampire and he feeds her, his blood.















For the lips i want to show how the blood has dried on her lips, after she drinks his blood and i want the lips to look dry, so could add latex on it and then the blood. I dont want to add to much blood,as it could look to fake and over the top and she is not a vampire or anything, so i still want her to look slightly human.
